Thorlabs offers two photomultiplier modules that combine a head-on photomultiplier tube (PMT) with a housing and a high-gain, DC-coupled, transimpedance amplifier: PMM01 for the 280 - 630 nm spectral range and PMM02 for the 280 - 850 nm spectral range. (read more)

Thorlabs' Shack Hartmann Wavefront Sensors provide accurate, high-speed measurements of the wavefront shape and intensity distribution of beams by analyzing the location and intensity of spots (spotfield) formed by imaging a beam of light onto a CCD camera with a microlens array. (read more)

Thorlabs now stocks precision ground large diameter aspheric lenses. They feature a larger diameter for superior light collection and focusing specifications, are made from low dispersion materials, and have a correcte wavefront transmission. (read more)

The CFC Series of adjustable FC collimators consist of a stainless steel housing and an AR coated aspheric lens. These quickly connector to the end of a fiber with either a FC/APC or /PC connector. The collimator can be quickly adjusted by rotating the spring loaded knurled end of the inner housing allowing the user to collimate a beam of light over the entire spectral range of the device. The TLS001 T-Cube Laser Source is a fully functional, highly compact laser source. The device incorporates driver electronics and a pigtailed Fabry-Perot laser diode in both 635 nm and 1550 nm variants. It can be controlled by a manual and USB interface. The output laser power is monitored continuously and a feedback circuit adjusts the laser power to achieve a constant output power. (read more)

The TTC001 T-Cube TEC Controller is designed for high-precision thermal control of small temperature sensitive components. It is designed to drive an external Peltier effect thermoelectric heater/cooler coupled to a standard thermistor or IC sensor. The highly precise, closed-loop control is suitable for many applications. (read more)

The CFW6 allows a total of six Ø1.0" (25 mm) filters to be integrated into a cage system without disturbing the stability of the cage system. Using a spring-loaded detent mechanism, the CFW6 locks into place at each filter location, centering the filter within the beam path. (read more)

The FW212B is a motor-driven filter wheels used for a host of automated applications including color CCD photography, fluorescence microscopy, and photometry. The 4" diameter wheel accepts up to twelve 1/2" diameter filters that are up to 0.25" thick. (read more)

Thorlabs offers an extensive line of fiber optic isolators with isolation values from 30 to 42 dB and wavelength ranges from 780 to 1550 nm. These devices are used to protect sources from reflections and signals that can cause instabilities and damage. (read more)

The PDA Series Photodetectors are amplified photodiodes in a compact package. The new PDA Series housing utilizes a thin profile to allow access to light paths with the minimum amount of interference and include a low noise transimpedance or voltage amplifier. All connections and controls are located perpendicular to the light path, providing increased accessibility. (read more)

The PDA10DT uses an extended range InGaAs detector, giving the detector a wide wavelength range of 1200nm-2570nm. This detector includes a built-in TEC element and thermistor, which stabilizes the temperature at 10°C. The PDA10DT has an eight position gain switch, allowing the user to set the gain from 1.51kV/A to 4.7MV/A (70dB). (read more)

The LM14S2 14-pin Butterfly Laser Diode Mount is designed to operate with all lasers and two-port electro-optic devices in a 14-pin butterfly package. The mount provides Zero Insertion Force Sockets (ZIF) and the top surface includes heat sink fins and a recessed region to mount the laser diode, resulting in a very low profile package. (read more)

The SC10 is a versatile instrument designed to control the SH05 Beam Shutter. The unit also doubles as a stand-alone digital delay generator with 1ms resolution and 0.1ms accuracy. The SH05 Beam Shutter utilizes a rotary, electro-mechanical actuator to provide sub-millisecond shutter operation. In addition the SC10 also provides a TTL output trigger to drive other devices. This compact single channel DC servo controller/driver operates a variety of lower powered DC brushed motors (up to 15V/2.5W operation) equipped with encoder feedback. Although optimized for operation with the Thorlabs range of Z6 DC motor equipped optomechanical products, the highly flexible device supports operation with a wide range of third party DC servo motors and actuators. This new T-Cube controller drives 15V solenoid operated shutters, flipper mounts and other such devices. The controller is fully featured, possessing an embedded DSP processor to provide a multitude of flexible operating modes. Embedded software functionality allows this unit to be used to control solenoid devices manually, automatically with DSP timed operation, or external trigger signals. (read more)

The T-Cube Strain Gauge Reader (TSG001) is a new, compact, single channel reader designed to measure, condition (rectify and filter), and display the feedback signal derived from AC bridge strain gauge systems. Our line of High Sensitivity Digital Optical Power Meters provides a complete solution for laser power and other optical power measurements with detectable signals of 5nW to 1W (sensor dependent) at wavelength ranges of 400nm to 1100nm and 700nm to 1800nm. Thorlabs offers the new DET01CFC InGaAs photodetector. It features an increased bandwidth of up to 2GHz and an operating wavelength range of 800-1700nm. A new version that operates in the visible range is now available – the DET02AFC. It has a 1.2GHz bandwidth and a wavelength range of 400-1100nm. (read more)

Thorlabs' new dual channel Benchtop Optical Power and Energy Meter allows measurement of optical powers from 50nW to 30W using Thorlabs' optical power sensors. Lithium Niobate Electro-Optic Modulators

Thorlabs free-space electro-optic (EO) amplitude and phase lithium niobate modulators combine our experience with crystal growth and electro-optic materials.
