Plastics and plastic materials are organic, synthetic or processed polymers that are supplied as raw materials or stock shapes. They typically consist of thermoplastic or thermosetting resins and can be made into many forms.
Material testing services test, analyze, and certify a wide range of materials for purity, chemical compatibility, and environmental impact.
Search by Specification | Learn MoreMolding compounds and resins are industrial plastics and polymers that are suitable for forming. They are available as pellets, liquids, and powders and are used in processes such as injection molding, compression molding, reaction injection molding (RIM), resin transfer molding (RTM), and blow molding.
Search by Specification | Learn MorePanels and panel materials are composite structures which consist of multiple layers or skins often bonded to or sandwiching a core material such as multilayer sheets, cored laminates or industrial structural panels.
Learn MoreHot melt adhesives are solvent-free chemical compounds that are used to join materials. They can be repeatedly softened by heat and hardened or set by cooling, allowing parts to be removed or repositioned during assembly.
Search by Specification | Learn MoreConductive adhesives and compounds provide an electrically and/or thermally conductive path between components.
Search by Specification | Learn MoreSilicone adhesives and silicone sealants have a high degree of flexibility and very high temperature resistance.
Search by Specification | Learn MoreAnaerobic adhesives and sealants cure in the absence of air or oxygen.
Search by Specification | Learn MoreProperty testers are used to determine various physical properties of samples, including cloud point, distillation, flash point, freezing point, melting point, pour point, and vapor pressure.
Search by Specification | Learn MoreRubber adhesives and rubber sealants are highly flexible, natural or synthetic materials that are used to join components or fill gaps between seams or on surfaces.
Search by Specification | Learn MoreWood and wood products are materials derived from trees and include timber, lumber, veneer, wood pulp, wood flour, pellets and chips
Learn MoreMechanical testing equipment covers devices used for adhesion, compression, drop (shock), tensile, vibration and fatigue testing
Search by Specification | Learn MoreNon-destructive testing (NDT) material testers are devices, machines and equipment that are used to determine residual stress, alloy type, hardness, microstructure, elasticity, heat treatment and other material conditions without permanently altering or destroying the material being examined.
Search by Specification | Learn MoreElastomers and rubber materials are characterized by their high degree of flexibility and elasticity (high reversible elongation or resilience).
Search by Specification | Learn MoreSpecialty polymers and resins are proprietary polymers, resins, monomers and intermediates. This category includes plastics and elastomers that are based on proprietary curing technologies or chemistries, or that are designed for specialized applications.

This is a 500 pound capacity horizontal machine with a 12 by 72 inch heated bath six inches deep for testing tubing and other components which are in contact with blood or other body fluids during their normal use. The machine also has the ability to apply and measure torsion loads while measuring and controlling tensile loading. (read more)
Let the United Wizard help with your tensile or hardness testing problem!
United is a front-runner in materials testing technology. They pioneered the first automatic data acquisition and reduction system in conjunction with physical testing, and developed the first fully automatic system testing several samples in sequence without operator involvement. (read more)
The ESLTest II Test System is available in 500-lb and 1000-lb capacity.
Tensile and Compression Testing - Sun-Tec Corporation.
NST Series Combining tensile and compression testing into one piece of equipment makes this NST model by Detroit Testing Machine Company the tester of choice. (read more)
A manufacturer in Germany needed to test their mooring systems, so AJT designed and built a fully computerized system to control a tensile test machine with four heavy duty Bradford Hydraulic Cylinders, each developing a force of over 5000Kn at a working pressure of 250bar. (read more)
Designed specifically for simple proof load, destruction, cyclic and long period load testing of all types of materials (subject to gripping options). AJT Equipment are one of the leading manufacturers of horizontal and vertical test beds in the world. Each machine is is made specifically to order to customers requirements. (read more)
United often has available previously owned hardness and tensile testers, taken in trade from customers purchasing new United testers. These units are refurbished to original factory specifications at our factory in Huntington Beach, California, or at our Sales and Service facility in Flint, Michigan, and are able to provide their new owners with several more years of dependable service. Master Bond Polymer System EP46HT-1 is a two component high performance epoxy resin system. The excellent tensile strength of 10,600 psi and tensile modulus as high as 450,000 are largely retained upon prolonged exposures to elevated temperatures as high as 315°C (600°F). The EP46HT-1 system exhibits glass transition temperatures in excess of 230°C and exceptionally low shrinkage. (read more)
The TOPC – 305III is a multi-purpose testing machine used for laminated woods. These state-of-the-art pressure testers are capable to perform not only the vacuum pressure soak tests but also the cyclic steaming tests of structural laminated lumber. (read more)
