One of the most exciting modern applications of spin casting technology is its use in rapid prototyping and product development. It is ideal for quickly and economically producing numerous fully functional, fragile parts in high-strength metal or plastic from computer-generated RP models. (read more)
Meehanite is different from ordinary cast iron for a number of reasons and offers distinct advantages: Uniform Soundness, Consistent Physical Properties and Dependable Performance In Service. This section describes the essentials of the Meehanite Process. (read more)
"Blooming" is a common problem associated with cyanoacrylate (super glue) type adhesives. It is seen as a powdery white residue deposited on surfaces close to where the adhesive has been applied. It is particularly noticable on dark coloured substrates and can be detrimental to the finished appearance of a bonded assembly.
Permabond has developed "CSA-NF" surface activator to solve this p... (read more)
ZA alloys were initially developed for gravity casting. Their mechanical properties compete directly with bronze, cast iron and aluminum using sand, permanent mold and plaster mold casting methods. (read more)
