This requires a pore free microstructure. Loos & Co. has entered into a data license with The Boeing Company allowing the company to use detail engineering design to obtain Parts Manufacturing Authority (PMA) for replacement spare parts. The license will permit Loos to manufacture licensed PMA parts under Loos' FAA approved quality system and distribute directly to operators. (read more)

Klock Werks Kustom Cycles produced custom bike parts in 5 days, reducing production time 82 percent. KlockWerks used direct digital manufacturing with FDM to make custom end-use motorcycle parts directly from CAD files without tooling.
