Crucibles are vessels used to melt and process materials at high temperatures
Surface preparation services clean, strengthen and prepare surfaces for additional processing and/or refine or roughen surfaces to meet finishing requirements. Cleaning processes include thermal cleaning, degreasing, spray washing, immersion washing, stripping or coating removal, and ultrasonic cleaning. Finishing processes include blasting, buffing, deburring, deflashing, polishing, electropolishing, honing, mass finishing, mirror finishing, oxygen cleaning, passivation, picking, sanding, and grinding.
Search by Specification | Learn MoreCeramic and metal labware is used in applications where standard glass or plastic devices are inadequate. This includes fusion, reaction or incineration of samples for chemical analysis or material synthesis.
Learn MoreCold and hot isostatic pressing services apply high pressures and/or temperature to form near net shapes, densify parts, diffusion bond materials, remove internal porosity and improve the integrity of engineering components.
Search by Specification | Learn MoreIsostatic presses are used for compressing powdered materials into shaped pre-forms or general products. There are two main types of isostatic presses; cold isostatic presses (CIP) that function at room temperature and hot isostatic presses (HIP) that function at elevated temperatures.
Search by Specification | Learn MoreProtective liners and lining systems protect an underlying surface from corrosion, wear, erosion, heat or fire. They may also provide leak protection or fluid containment.
Search by Specification | Learn MoreCarbon occurs in a variety of forms such as vitreous carbon, pyrolytic graphite, hexagonal graphite and polycrystalline diamond (PCD). Carbon and graphite materials have high refractoriness while diamond has the highest hardness of all known materials.
Learn MorePrecious metals and alloys such as silver, gold, platinum and palladium alloys are extremely resistant to corrosion and oxidation.
Learn MoreFoundry equipment and supplies used in die casing, investment casting and other metal casting operations.
Learn MoreCopper, brass and bronze alloys are non-ferrous metals with excellent electrical and thermal conductivity as well as good corrosion resistance, ductility and strength.
Search by Specification | Learn MorePowder compacting equipment is used to shape powders as part of a forming process and to compress a wide range of materials into compact shapes for ease of transportation and handling.
Search by Specification | Learn MoreReactive and refractory metals include tungsten, molybdenum, niobium, tantalum, chromium, hafnium, zirconium, and titanium. Reactive metals oxide rapidly and form a stable oxide. Refractory metals and alloys have melting points above ~ 1750° C (~ 3200 F°).
Search by Specification | Learn MoreCarbon steels and alloy steels are ferrous alloys that contain carbon and other alloying elements such as manganese, chromium, molybdenum, and nickel
Search by Specification | Learn MoreStainless steel alloys are austenitic, ferritic, martensitic, precipitation hardened (PH), and duplex metal materials that are available in a wide variety of grades, shapes, and sizes
Search by Specification | Learn MoreFerrous metals and alloys are based on iron and include carbon steels, alloy steels, stainless steels, cast iron, cast steel, maraging steel, and specialty or proprietary iron-based alloys.

Carbon Steel is a malleable, iron-based metal containing carbon, small amounts of manganese, and other elements to make the material useful for many different applications. Carbon steels are the base metals widely used in manufacturing today around the world in nearly every industry, including aerospace, aircraft, automotive, chemical, and defense. (read more)
Tool steel was created primarily to cut and machine other types of metal, such as alloy steel, carbon steel, nickel alloys, aluminum, and magnesium. Its basic characteristic is that it is harder then the material that it is cutting or machining; therefore, tool steel is always used in the heat treated condition. (read more)
